Innovation Technology

The Innovation Technology Department focuses on providing the best possible technology solutions to keep all Hallandale Beach stakeholders connected and engaged.  This department serves as the primary technology resource for all City departments and helps deliver city services to the community in the most cost-effective and streamline manner. Our mission is to provide responsive and dependable delivery of Technology services to City Administration and support fiscally sound and effective government.

Department Service Support Areas


Our support role covers more than 550 city staff at 21 city locations, provisioning voice, data, software and hardware support services. Our department's core areas are:


Network Support

: This core service areas focuses on provisioning voice and data services to more than 475 city staff at 21 city locations, securing the data and availability of communication services.


Systems Support

: This core area provides support to all software systems utilized by City staff, City Apps for the public and eBusiness online portals for the public.


GIS Support

: We provide support to City address and parcel management functions.


Public Relations / Communications

: Our support staff focuses on keeping city constituents engaged and aware on upcoming events, city services and critical notifications.  This service support area covers maintaining the website, HBTV, Quarterly newsletter and Social Media channels.
